China’s imperial history is on a different scale than almost anywhere else — the Great Wall stretches for thousands of kilometres, and Beijing’s palaces were built to awe for good reason.

Suggested Route (5 Days)

- Day 3 — Summer Palace: Kunming Lake and the imperial gardens built as a royal retreat.
- Days 4–5 — Hutongs & Giant Pandas: A rickshaw tour through old Beijing’s alleyways and a visit with the country’s most famous residents.
