Refund Policy

This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for flights, hotels, tour packages and visa services arranged by Trip & Deal Ltd. Airlines, hotels and embassies each set their own rules, so the amount that can be recovered depends largely on their policies. Where our own charges apply, they are set out below.

1. How to request a cancellation or refund

Please send your request in writing by email or WhatsApp, including your booking reference, the traveler names and the reason for cancellation. A cancellation takes effect from the time we receive your written request, not from an earlier phone conversation.

2. Air tickets

• Refunds and date changes follow the fare rules of the airline that issued the ticket. Many discounted and promotional fares are partly or completely non-refundable.
• Airline cancellation, no-show and date-change charges are deducted in full.
• Our service charges are additional to the airline charges, as shown below.

If an airline cancels a flight, we do not apply a service charge. You receive whatever the airline refunds, in full.

3. Tour packages

Package cancellations are charged on a sliding scale, based on how far ahead of departure we receive your written request:

15 to 29 days	50% of the package price
7 to 14 days	75% of the package price
Less than 7 days, or no-show	100% (no refund)

In addition, third-party costs that have already been paid and cannot be recovered are deducted in full, whenever you cancel. These include issued air tickets, non-refundable hotel nights, embassy fees, entrance or event tickets and visa charges.

4. Hotel bookings

Each hotel sets its own cancellation terms, which we confirm to you before you book. Rates marked non-refundable cannot be canceled or refunded once confirmed. Where a hotel allows free cancellation, we refund the amount the hotel returns to us, less any bank or transfer charges.

5. Visa services

• Embassy, consulate and visa center fees are non-refundable once an application has been submitted.
• Our visa service fee is non-refundable once we have begun work on your file.
• If you cancel before your application is submitted, any government fee not yet paid is returned to you and the service fee is retained.
• Visa approval is decided solely by the embassy. If an application is refused, neither the embassy fee nor our service fee is refundable.

6. Unused services

No refund is given for any part of a booking that you do not use, for example an unused hotel night, a missed transfer or a tour you choose not to join.

7. How and when refunds are paid

• Refunds are paid by bank transfer or bKash. Payments made in cash are refunded by bank transfer or bKash rather than in cash.
• Approved refunds are released within 7 to 15 working days.
• Airline refunds depend on the airline settling with us and can take 30 to 60 days, sometimes longer.
• bKash cash-out and bank transfer charges are borne by the customer.
• Refunds are paid to the person who made the original payment.

8. Changes to a confirmed booking

Changes to dates, names or hotels are subject to availability and to the supplier charges that apply, plus any difference in fare or rate and our date-change fee shown above. Most airlines treat a name change as a cancellation and a new booking.

9. Circumstances beyond our control

If a flight, hotel or tour is canceled because of weather, natural disaster, strike, political unrest, border closure, epidemic or any other event outside our control, we refund whatever we are able to recover from the airline, hotel or operator concerned. Our service fees for work already carried out are not refundable in these cases.
