Austria is the trip people imagine when they picture Europe — palaces, mountain villages, and cities where classical music still feels alive. It works equally well as a 7-day solo escape or a 10-day family itinerary, and unlike some Western European cities, costs stay reasonable outside of peak ski season.

Suggested Route (7–10 Days)
- Days 1–3 — Vienna: Schönbrunn Palace, the Ringstrasse, a night at the State Opera, and coffeehouse culture that’s UNESCO-recognised for a reason.
- Days 4–5 — Salzburg: Mozart’s birthplace, the fortress above the old town, and easy day trips into the Salzkammergut lake district.
- Days 6–7 — Hallstatt or Innsbruck: Pick the postcard lake village or the Alpine city with a cable car straight out of downtown.
Visa & Entry Notes
Austria is part of the Schengen Area, so a single Schengen visa covers your trip — and lets you add neighbouring countries like the Czech Republic or Germany onto the same itinerary if you want to. We handle the documentation end-to-end as part of your booking.
Best Time to Visit
May–June and September are the sweet spot: mild weather, fewer crowds, lower hotel rates than peak summer. December has its own appeal for Christmas markets, if you don’t mind the cold.
